More investment into the TAR
According to Xinhua News Agency, 313 deals were signed in 2004, bringing contractual investment totalling 4.72 billion yuan (£324,480,736; €479,205,792; US$582,378,112) into the Tibet Autonomous Region. Of this, 2.1 billion yuan (£144,366,432; €213,205,968; US$259,108,912.00) came from other parts of the PRC, a 90 percent increase on the previous year.
