Tibetans urged to moderation during Hu's US-visit
(TibetNet) Exile Prime Minister (Kalon Tripa) Samdhong Rinpoche requested Tibetans and Tibet Support Groups in the USA not to stage aggressive protests during Chinese President, Hu Jintao's visit to that country, in late September. He said the efforts to resolve the issue of Tibet has reached a crucial "make or break" stage. Samdhong Rinpoche clarified that his administration's appeal to refrain from all forms of aggressive demonstrations should not be misinterpreted as a virtual moratorium on all activism.
